  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened + 2 tbsp melted (for brushing)
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1½ tsp salt
Step-by-Step Instructions:
  1. Activate yeast:
    • Warm milk (110°F), sugar and yeast Mix together and let it foam for 5 to 10 minutes. If it doesn’t foam,inactive the yeast and start again.
  2. Mixing Dough:
    • Whisk together the flour and salt in a large bowl.
    • To make shaggy dough, add yeast mixture, softened butter, and eggs and mix.
  3. Knead the Dough:
    • Sprinkle flour on the surface and knead for 8 to 10 minutes until it becams smooth and elastic. If it feels sticky,Adjust with 1 tbsp of flour.
  4. First Rise:
